Family Meal Prep in Plano, Frisco and McKinney: A Weekly Rhythm That Holds

Family portions, kid-friendly picks and a Sunday-to-Wednesday rhythm that survives practice, homework and late meetings.

The week most north Dallas families actually have

Practices start at 5:30, homework starts at 7, and somebody always has an evening call. The failure point is rarely willpower — it's the ninety minutes between getting home and getting food on the table. Organic meal prep delivery removes that gap by putting cooked food in the refrigerator before the week starts.

Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Prosper and Richardson sit on our east-side route, so deliveries land Sunday and Wednesday. The Sunday drop covers the front half of the week and the Wednesday drop keeps Thursday and Friday from turning into takeout.

Family portions versus individual portions

Individual portions run $10–$16 and are the right unit for one adult's lunch or a plate that has to travel. Family portions serve roughly four and run $42–$72, which is where most households in this part of the metroplex land for dinners.

  • Two family dinners plus three or four individual lunches covers a normal week for a family of four
  • Add a sourdough loaf ($14) if bread disappears fast at your house
  • Green juice is $16 a quart; the raw chocolate ice cream is $14 a pint
  • Order minimum is $65, delivery is a flat $9 and free over $150

What kids actually eat

The dishes that clear plates fastest are the plainest ones: cherry tomato rigatoni, the street taco plate with bone broth rice, lemon chicken meatball orzo, and the sourdough breakfast sandwich on a homemade English muffin. Nothing on the menu is built on canola or soybean oil, so the food kids like most is not the food you have to negotiate about.

Portion changes, allergies and 'no onions for the seven-year-old' go in the order notes and the kitchen adjusts wherever the recipe allows.

Keeping it going past week three

Order once and it's a nice week. The habit forms when ordering itself becomes routine: the menu posts each week, orders close Sunday at 8pm, and the same two delivery days repeat. Meals keep five to six days refrigerated and most entrées freeze up to two months, so an over-ordered week is never wasted.
